One staying, one going (November 06, 2009)
Top scorer Mark Bellingham has again confirmed his desire to stay with Leamington FC.
Bello, the leagues current top scorer has already rejected moves to Nuneaton Town and Farnborough this season and is currently the subject of a 7 day approach from Halesowen Town.
He confirmed again tonight that he has no intentions on leaving Brakes and doesn't intend on moving anywhere unless his circumstances don't fit in with the new managers plans
Meanwhile caretaker manager Wayne Powells plans for Saturday were dealt a blow when it was confirmed that Simon Travis will be making the move to Brackley Town to team up with former Brakes Richard Morris & Ben Mackey.
Despite the club wanting to Keep Simon, the offer made, plus the chance to play again with good friend Jon Brady proved too much of a pull
During his time at Leamington Simon has acted with upmost dignity and professionalism and we wish to thank Simon for his efforts with Leamington FC and wish him success at his new club.
