You Tube has much to answer for. It allows spectacularly stupid people to put themselves on the internet and then even more spectacularly stupid people get to comment on it. To read them really is to despair about human-kind. There is one good thing about it though. It allows us to watch Halesowen Town stuff. This is just the start of what hopefully will become a Yeltz video archive. If you know of more stuff please let me know and I'll add it.
Match Highlights and Goals:
2009/10
- Three part epic of the 2-0 win over Swindon Supermarine on August 29th. Sit back and let the atmosphere from the empty stands wash over you. Part 1, Part 2, Part 3.
- Yeltz 1 Cambridge City 1. See the goals - not many saw them live!
- First game of the season and first day of the boycott. Only 96 people saw Stefan Moore's debut goal beat Hemel Hempstead 1-0.
2008/09
- Not sure why you'd want to watch it but these are professionally done highlights of our 4-1 FA Cup drubbing against Maidstone United.
- Just how bad was Curtis Ujah? Look at his "defending" for Oxford's second goal of our 5-2 league victory.
2007/08
- The game was ultimately abandoned but it was an exciting half an hour while it lasted. Remind yourself with these highlights of the Play Off Semi Final vs Chippenham.
- An Aaron Farrell goal was a rare event for Halesowen. Just to show he did do it here he is in the 1-1 draw against Gloucester City.
Other stuff:
- Eldon Maquemba goal vs Brackley. Remind yourself why you loved Eldon with a look at this goal against Brackley (complete with handy watching instructions).
- Soccer X's interview with Martin O'Connor prior to the 2007/08 season. He did well on a budget. That's B-U-D-G-E-T, Morell Maison. Worth a look, if only to have a look at Martin's broken zip.
- Proving that just adding the Benny Hill theme tune to something doesn't make it funny, here is an attempt to have a laugh at the Yeltz by a Stourbridge fan. I wouldn't mind but the first two photos were taken by me! Talk about breach of copyright...
